Micromax has launched yet another lower mid-range Android smartphone in the form of Canvas 4 Plus A315. Priced at Rs. 16,999.

Micromax Canvas 4 Plus A315 features a 5-inch HD AMOLED display, a 13-megapixel primary camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat, thanks to the octa-core MediaTek MT6592 processor ticking at 1.7GHz along with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. It is a dual-SIM smartphone and features connectivity options such as Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and A-GPS.

Gionee CTRL V4S Smartphone Specifications

Gionee launched the new smartphone in its CTRL V-series in India, called the Gionee CTRL V4S, which is priced at Rs. 9,999.

The dual-SIM Gionee CTRL V4S runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box and features a 4.5-inch FWVGA (480x854 pixels) IPS display. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Cortex-A7 processor coupled with an ARM Mali 400 GPU and 1GB of RAM.

The smartphone comes with 8GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD (up to 32GB). The CTRL V4S sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, while there is a secondary 2-megapixel front-facing camera also onboard.

Gionee CTRL V4S includes 3G, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS/A-GPS, FM radio and Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP. The smartphone packs a 1800mAh battery, which according to the company delivers up to 10 hours of talk time on 3G and up to 16 hours of talk time on 2G networks.

Karbonn on Tuesday has launched the Titanium S20 priced at Rs. 4,999. The smartphone is exclusively available on Amazon India and comes with a bundled Aircel offer of 500MB free data for three months starting October 2.

The dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) Karbonn Titanium S20 runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box and features a 4.5-inch FWVGA (480x854 pixels) display. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad core processor (unknown chipset) coupled with 1GB of RAM. The smartphone features a 5-megapixel rear camera, while there is a 0.3-megapixel front facing camera also onboard.

The handset packs 4GB of inbuilt storage which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). Connectivity options on the Karbonn Titanium S20 include 3G, Wi-Fi, FM radio, Bluetooth, and GPS/ A-GPS. The battery on the smartphone is 1600mAh.

Samsung has officially launched its first-ever selfie smartphone, named Galaxy Grand Prime in the Indian market at Rs. 15,499. The phone, which has a wide-angle 5-megapixel front camera, available in white and grey colours.

The key feature of the the Grand Prime is its front camera that has a 85-degree wide lens, which will help users fit in more people on their selfies or in other words capture better group selfies. The rear camera can shoot images in 8-megapixel.

The dual-SIM (Micro-SIM) Galaxy Grand Prime runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box and pack a 5-inch qHD (540x960 pixels) PLS TFT display. The smartphone features a 1.2GHz quad-core (unknown chipset) processor coupled with 1GB of RAM.
